DESCRIPTION::
These two manuals, one dedicated to single men and one to single women, give careful instructions on how to adopt the gender roles of the opposite sex and how to manage and maintain a single's lifestyle. Through my research I found that despite the fact that society is changing and gender roles are constantly being challenged, traditional gender stereotypes are still very prevalent in people's minds. These two books, which I wrote, edited, illustrated, designed, printed and bound during the first semester of my graduating year, are poking fun at these stereotypes by exaggerating and playing along with them.
